Hello. Your recent hardware upgrade worked well, and you upgraded your CPU cooler to a Kraken x42. After restarting, you noticed your SSDs appear as USB devices in the Explorer. You also received the warning about removing USB devices. Is there a solution to resolve this issue? Are others experiencing similar problems?

Check disk management settings to create a fresh simple volume and give it a new drive letter.

Do you think your SATA ports might be faulty? It seems like they’re matching those in your previous setup.

It might be due to varying controller types on your motherboard—some USB-powered while others use DMI or PCIe—and you connected them to a different port.
