You can duplicate your existing Windows setup onto an SSD without needing extra space on the hard drive. I recommend using EaseUS Todo backup for this process.

If cloning Windows isn't an option, you'll need to install it from scratch and then reconfigure your software manually. However, I usually prefer removing most of your games, creating a new drive, and then clearing the previous one for a smoother experience.
