SQL Query – Put several pieces of information together in one place
Hey everyone! So, I am an admin in a gaming group and we just started setting up a Minecraft server. Since it runs on Bungeecord, there are technically many different server copies (instances), but they all need the same permissions set. I use LuckPerms BTW. I have configured all our servers to have LuckPerms save/edit/write/delete permissions, along with groups and tracks from a MYSQL database. Everything is working well. However, it takes forever to type the exact same command every time I want to add a permission for each group or rank (even though it's nice because of inheritances). I've been trying to just use the SQL command line on phpmyadmin to insert many permissions at once. The problem is that I can't just run: INSERT INTO (PermGroup/table) (COLUMN permission) VALUES ('perm1', 'perm2', 'perm3', etc); Why? Because the actual permissions for each group are stored in a different table called "luckpermsgroup_permissions" with columns like id, name, permission, value, and so on. What would be the best way (if possible) to insert many values into the luckpermsgroup_permissions TABLE while ensuring that for every VALUE I insert into the COLUMN "permission", also assigns that same permission of the column NAME "moderator"?
