I tried it a few years back. It's an enjoyable game, but I can't keep playing it for too long.
Hawken was fun BEFORE they added all the MANY mechs to make it different... I do like the updates (new maps are nice) but they still are not super great in any way... Now there is too much to grind (just to figure out if you like it) and people don't like that. I loved the first few beta months....it was awesome. Since....dead.
I just checked the screenshots on Steam, noticed some UI issues I don’t like, and none of my friends use it. Since I love playing with friends, I’ll skip it.
He recommended a game from five years back, but I wasn’t into it then. Now I’m leaning toward Titanfall, and my old PC should handle it fine (GTX 550 Ti, 2.94GHz).
They’re clearly trying to push a game that doesn’t work well in many ways. We explain the issues and you feel personally affected. No one here has made fun of you—just some complaints about Hawken.
