Spotify vs ITunes ?
Which option is superior? Upgrading to Spotify Premium offers added benefits, but it depends on your needs and budget.
From my perspective, Spotify stands out. You can enhance it by including more artists, and you also have the option to add your personal collection. With Premium access, you gain the ability to stream music not owned by you online.
I really enjoy Spotify a lot and subscribe to the premium version. I don’t like seeing ads, and I’m drawn to the superior sound quality.
The primary reason for purchasing premium is its offline and mobile capabilities.
I rely on both platforms. I use iTunes for my music library and Spotify to discover new artists. They seem to cater to different needs, don't you think?
Check Spotify's current value, then decide if 7€/month makes sense for you.
I haven't tried Spotify yet (not in Canada yet), though I used to pay for RDS. It worked well at first, but some songs weren't available in Canada for weeks or months after release. Using a US proxy fixed that problem. I mainly rely on iTunes for my collection, but it would become expensive if you bought everything through it. Mostly I listen to YouTube—either good playlists or my own mixes—but ads are now on every video, so I don’t use it anymore.
