Spider-Man Miles Morales key points
Spider-Man Miles Morales key points
Just a little holiday cheer for you all.
😀
It seems Spidey Miles has been busy dropping in on his friends at Roxxon to hang mistletoe on the ceiling, crank up the holiday lights, and wish everyone a Feliz Navidad!
Of course there were some Scrouges who said Bah Humbug and tried to stop him, so he had to jump through hoops on the festively decorated streets to escape.
Afterward, he saw a drone racing course setup in Central Park, and decided to have a go at zipping through it just for fun.
Season's Greetings, FRAG !
You're currently playing 'Miles Morales'? I appreciate the combat mechanics in this title, though I won't be able to replicate your experience. As you might already know, I prefer FPS and TPS/RPG genres.
Still, I hope I can try such games someday. My confidence is low—I'm unsure if I'd handle it well or not (especially if I invest in this game).
I admire the Venom Blast power/ability of Miles. I've seen some gameplay walkthroughs and found it impressive. By the way, I don't understand why it's called VENOM blast; it seems more related to bio-electricity rather than a poisonous attack.
The abilities listed here really stand out.

I'm not entirely certain about the reason they refer to it as a "Venom" power, but I think it's likely because Miles acquired these abilities in a similar way to Peter, through a spider bite. It seems the spider might have carried some altered venom, since it was picked up by MJ after she explored an Oscorp lab where Sable's forces were stationed.
Spoiler
One of the videos I shared in the recent update of the end game for Spider-Man Remastered is titled "Step Into My Parlor." As MJ discovers a hidden lab while investigating Norman Osborn's office, she comes across a video collection explaining how Mr Negative was created through experiments involving GR-27 (Devil's Breath). Norman was attempting to determine if this treatment could help cure his son's illness. It appears the spider may have also received GR-27, and when it bit Miles, it transferred a muted form of bioenergy similar to what Mr Negative possesses.
As for your ability to tackle the game, it offers numerous difficulty settings, including some that are even more challenging than what I'm currently playing. I don't rely on the invisibility cloak as frequently, and I also don't consistently use all the suit mods that enhance its longevity or trigger early activation before being detected.
You could try purchasing it on Steam and, within their two-hour refund period, see if you can manage it. One of the story missions at the end that I recently completed is definitely more demanding than previous ones, but I still had the option to use the cloak.
Sounds like a solid plan. I’m aware there’s a two-hour return window limit, which should give me a chance to experience the gameplay. The only issue is the main opening cutscene we can’t skip—it already accounts for about fifteen minutes of playtime.
Not accurate, there are only around 2 minutes and 30 seconds of scenes that can't be skipped at the beginning. Nevertheless, it's necessary to complete six main missions before fast travel becomes possible. It's quite simple to get the Point Launch Boost, which significantly speeds up web movement by launching from points you land on instantly. This player achieved the Point Launch Boost despite some challenging web swinging and zipping.
It looks like you're ready to start playing the game. The person doing the speedrun walkthrough is really skilled, and completing a speedrun takes time and practice.
It looks like you misunderstood the reason behind sharing the speedrun video. The goal was to highlight that there are only about 2 minutes and 30 seconds of unskippable cutscenes at the beginning, not 15 minutes as you mentioned. I doubt you found the 15-minute figure accurate since it's significantly longer than what actually exists.
I didn't miss your point. Of course, I understand why you shared the speedrun video, in order to highlight the length of the cutscene that must be skipped. Ignore the 15-minute segment I mentioned before. That was just a misunderstanding.
My remark about the speedrun walkthrough was simply a general assessment of their skill.
Not related to this.
Edit: Just purchased the game; I plan to start playing soon.
I've gathered additional highlights to share. These cover Combat and Stealth tasks, Peter's Final Test, one of the more intriguing Crimes, several Underground Hideouts, and a side quest named We've Got A Lead.
Challenges
Interestingly, I found the level 1 Combat challenge particularly tough until I applied the perk from beating it with the lowest Amazing score—gaining extra swings while twirling objects made it much easier.
Crimes
In this Crime, the Underground tampered with satellite dishes to disrupt a chopper. My first attempt was unsuccessful, and it took time for the issue to reappear, so I paused my plans when Ganke alerted me.
Hideouts
These resemble an alternate take on the Fisk Hideouts from Spider-Man Remastered, but they pose a challenge due to their bioenergy abilities if you're not cautious.
Side Missions
Regarding Fisk, this side mission has a strange glitch: when communicating with him via laptop, he seems oddly distorted. Instead of clarification, check the video thumbnail beforehand to understand what's happening.
