Spider-Man 2 causing chaos on the computer system
I was enjoying Spider-Man 2 until the prologue, then my computer abruptly stopped in the middle of the game. This occurred twice, and I followed a driver update recommendation from Reddit. Even after installing the AMD 25.1.1 optional driver, the issue persisted. I played for a short time and the PC shut down again. I ran some tests and everything seemed normal—GPU and CPU temps were low, power draw stayed around 170W, and graphics settings were set high with many others reduced. PC specs: Intel i5-12400f, RX 7600, 16GB RAM, 550W PSU. Game was installed only on an SSD.
I don't have a specific model, but I can identify a 550W power supply if you provide more details such as its voltage, connector type, or brand.
Oh no, that game really struggles out of the box. There’s a fix mentioned in Steam chats, even an YouTuber named ordinarygamer shared it. The issue seems tied to two DLL files needing a move, not your hardware—just Sony’s problematic porting.
hope you are ref to this link. https://steamcommunity.com/app/2651280/d...875331812/ this is simple issue meanwhile mine is turning off the entire pc. let me know
Issue Fixed, appears to be the RDNA 3 driver problem. Following the provided link and reducing the GPU clock speed to 2165mhz significantly improved performance. Recently, I also underclocked the GPU speed and played the game without any interruptions for over half an hour. For other crashes, using that Steam link should work well.
