You recently purchased an APC uniterupted power supply and connected both Ethernet and coaxial cables to it. Your speed test speeds are only half the expected 400 Mbps. You're wondering if the coaxial ports are intended for cable TV and whether using a different connection method would help. It seems the coaxial cable might not be suitable for this setup, and you're considering alternatives like using the provider's recommended cables or a different modem configuration. There’s no clear manual guidance, so you may need to experiment with other setups or consult a technician.

You can check the signal strength on your modem. It seems like it might be weakening the connection and slowing things down. You don’t need to worry about running it through the ups unless there’s a specific reason.
