Speed problems on the new motherboard affect internet performance.
Hello everyone. I'm experiencing some problems with internet performance on my new motherboard, the Asus Maximus XI Code Z390. Previously, on my Asus Prime board, speeds were around 10-11 MB/s, which was normal. Now, when downloading games on Steam, Origin, or Uplay, I’m only getting about 0.01 MB/s. The ethernet activity lights show a yellow blinking light on the left and a solid orange one on the right. On my switch, the green blinking LED is active, but the orange activity light is off. This happens with both the ethernet plugged into the motherboard and the direct router connection. There’s no reset button or hole on the switch, and after unplugging the router and switch, I’ve reconnected everything. The slow download occurs whether the ethernet is connected to the board or not, and the wifi antennas on the board are working fine. On other computers with different connections, speeds were stable at 84 Mbps down and 11 Mbps up. I’ve updated the BIOS and installed all required drivers, but no extra Asus software is present. I’m sharing the current settings below to see if they might be affecting performance. Thanks!
