Looking into options that fit a 7600 MHZ DDR5 from AMD. Since you want the quickest RAM and don’t plan to change it later, it’s smart to stick with 6000 MHz if it meets your needs. 7600 is great but might be overkill unless you’re building a high-end rig. 6000 offers solid performance now and keeps things manageable.

You're in for a rude awakening, unfortunately. Your board can say whatever it wants regarding support, and its true, but current CPU's simply are not going to work with kits that fast out of the box (unless you really, really know what you're doing and make some compromises for benchmark bragging rights). All you need for Zen4 right now is a since, simple kit of DDR5-6000 CL30-32 and call it a day. There really isn't anything a normal user is going to benefit from by buying faster, not really.

AMD CPUs offer two memory controller settings: 1:1 mode provides lower latency but slower maximum speeds, while 2:1 mode boosts clock speeds more but introduces higher latency. By default, 1:1 reaches around 6000MT/s, and with adjustments you can hit 6200–6600MT/s depending on the chip's controller quality. Speeds exceeding 6000MT/s default to 2:1, which brings a big latency cost. Once you surpass 7600MT/s, the penalty becomes noticeable, and only at speeds above 8000MT/s does performance improve meaningfully. Beyond that, you may face memory instability and inconsistent CPU-to-CPU results. Overclocking is possible, especially with DDR5’s reliability, making it easy to push kits from 6000CL30 up to 8000+ if the hardware supports it. This topic can be tricky because you need to identify the specific memory IC on your kit—Hynix 16Gb and 24Gb dies are the ones that handle this—but understanding it helps show that choosing a lower-rated kit now won’t lock you into slower speeds later.
