Before making changes, always back up your current BIOS file. AMI recommends doing so. GL!

Before proceeding, it’s unclear exactly what you mean by "save your current bios." Could you clarify whether you want to back up your existing information or understand the process better?

Don’t worry about missing anything. To unlock your BIOS using AMI, follow the steps in their official guides or tutorials. Look for videos on YouTube that demonstrate the process—search terms like “unlock BIOS AMI” should help. Always refer to the manufacturer’s instructions for safety.

I understand it's meant for a different motherboard. However, as you mentioned, the steps remain consistent. Always keep the original BIOS, duplicate it, and then make changes to the copy.

I attempted to set up AMIFlash Aptio but encountered issues. The update tool only provided files without an executable. Please follow the remaining steps in the guide you received.

You might need a previous update. I’d appreciate assistance later—just let me know when you’re available.

I went through the website's steps, but I’m still unsure if updating your SATA controllers is necessary to access your BIOS. Could you walk me through what happened and how to proceed? I’d appreciate a quick guide from Discord.

I don't understand if the bios are locked. From the image it looks like only one slot is filled, so did you just purchase one stick? Also, what is your mobile model?
