I arrived home to discover my main connection only provided about 20 Mbps over Ethernet while I typically receive around 600 Mbps. The router shows 600 down, all other devices report the same speed. It seems there’s an issue with just one device—not the adapters themselves. Switching Ethernet cables, updating drivers, checking for Windows updates didn’t help. The Wi-Fi card is usually turned off, and using Wi-Fi still gave me only 20 Mbps. It appears the problem lies within this PC. The rest of the network is functioning properly. This system has been stable for a long time without any new hardware or changes. Any suggestions?

I solved the issue. I executed the command "netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal" via admin prompt, and the downloads resumed with 600 files restored. I’m not sure why it was necessary or what caused the change, but it resolved the problem.
