Is the heat stable? The performance drops sharply, jumping from around 50 frames per second to just 1–2 fps in milliseconds. Or it freezes at low frame rates. Adjusting the clock multiplier might help identify the issue.

The system stays stable, but once I power it on, the game slows down in the main menu right away, then automatically reduces to 0.79ghz

I performed a reset of the BIOS configuration, but it didn’t fix the issue. I reverted it to the original settings, yet nothing appears in the Task Manager.

Turn off turbo clock completely via BIOS or adjust your CPU speed to 3.6GHz and observe any differences. Review the minimum required CPU power in the Windows power plan settings, entering the value in percentage—change it from 0% to 100% if needed. If it’s currently 0%, set it to 100%. If it’s at 100%, consider lowering it to 0%.

I verified both systems and everything was functioning at 100%. Restored BIOS to default, setting it to 3.6GHz. Now I can't boot or access the BIOS anymore. It seems something might have failed. I fixed the crashing with a CMOS reset, but I'm unsure if that affected the games. Edited August 22, 2020 by DemonKyatto
