I recently acquired some PWM Be Quiet fans to swap in for the existing ones on my H150i radiator. The issue is they don’t power up unless I disconnect and reconnect them after the PC starts. Other PWM models from Corsair and NZXT work immediately upon booting. Even when adjusting settings in iCUE, nothing changes and the fans always show 0 RPM unless I reinsert them. Could there be something missing? They all seem to function identically, and my case fans are connected through a NZXT hub that also powers via USB 2.0 and SATA type 4. The radiator fans connect to the splitter on the H150i, while the front three are linked to the CPU_FAN header on the motherboard. The only fan directly connected to the board is the H150i’s pump via the CPU_FAN pin. The switch position doesn’t affect operation in MS, HS, or UHS modes—fans won’t spin up unless I disconnect and reconnect while the system runs. Changing curves in iCUE has no effect until I reinsert the fans. Even manual spinning fails. I’ve turned off the PC completely, reset CMOS, verified the fan connector is secure, re-enabled SATA power, checked for updates on both software and the H150i PRO, and tried plugging one fan at a time without success. This behavior is quite unusual—I’m unsure what else to try.
