I'm facing issues with my Windows 10 X64 laptop from Lenovo G50-45. It has 2x4GB RAM, but only 3.5GB is actually usable—most of it is reserved for hardware. I've tried various fixes on YouTube, but nothing works. This is really frustrating since I'm working on a student project and need more memory right now. Any suggestions?

Memory might be reset. It could simply be misaligned.

Consider ending background processes or put them to sleep entirely by opening Task Manager, selecting Startup, and disabling unwanted applications. This issue might also stem from integrated graphics—though GPUs usually don’t consume excessive RAM.

Also, look in the bios for the 8GB RAM information.
