Hello everyone! The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition is currently on a 50% discount on Steam. I’m curious—should I go ahead and purchase it now? How does it perform with mods, and is it well-optimized? Does it include all the DLC features like in the Legendary Edition? Perhaps I should wait for a bigger sale, such as during the summer promotion. Could I possibly get it at a lower price than 50%? Please share your thoughts on the game! Thank you in advance.

I received it without cost (everyone who owned the original Skyrim got SE free), it’s not a purchase—just get the standard version and add your own mods.

Appears more appealing now with mod support emerging, though some mods have officially backed it as well—consider sticking to the original if you had the Legendary version for free.

I prefer the x64 build. It performs slightly better than the x86 version. For those interested in modding, opt for the latest release. For a more powerful experience, choose the Legendary edition.
