I'm really struggling right now. I changed from a Logitech G633 headset to a DT 770 Pro yesterday, which needed a 3.5mm jack. I also had speakers that worked with the same jack. It seems everything is connected but only showing up as one device. My headphones are fine, but the speakers aren't. When I disconnect the headphones, the speakers work. If I take them out, the headphones still function. My motherboard is an Aorus Master Z390. Can anyone help me figure this out?

Ensure you have the correct audio driver for your motherboard. Alternatively, install IOBit Driver Booster. Once done, you'll access the Realtek Audio Console where you can adjust all settings.

You're welcome! The issue seems to be with how your system interprets the headphones and speakers. Since you're connecting them in reverse, it might be confusing the audio routing. Try swapping the connections so headphones go to the front and speakers to the back. This should resolve the detection problem.
