Whenever my headset disconnects from my PC, the audio becomes very distorted, which is quite bothersome and I don’t understand the cause. 20251205-0556-40.6363066.mp4 I’m using a ByteDance Pico 4 Ultra with USB-C to connect to the front panel on my PC. Although it’s USB2.0, that shouldn’t lead to this problem, correct? Yes??? This also occurs unexpectedly; I haven’t managed to reproduce it during testing, but noticed it earlier while recording a demo for Beat Saber and also in VRChat before.

USB 2.0 is clearly problematic, so I’d move to USB 3.0 right away. I’m amazed it’s still functioning now. It should resolve the disconnections and audio problems at once.

It's really impressive they let it function over USB 2.0. Most headsets I've used required USB 3.0 for optimal performance, especially when bandwidth is crucial. They seem to avoid working properly at lower speeds, causing frustrating glitches. Just make sure you plug it into a USB-C or USB 3.0 port and it should work again.

It says it supports USB 2.0, yet I receive the entire 150MB. So that's confusing

I've been using a USB3.1 cable for some time now, but it keeps happening, though less often. Additionally, I'm experiencing strange problems with SteamVR that keep glitching, which might not be a hardware issue at all.
