As expected, the sound remains poor and noisy regardless of volume. You're running Windows 11 Pro 64-bit with the AsRock b450m HDV R4.0 and wired Beats studio 2. The issue likely began after changing your computer cases. I've already tried several fixes: reinstalling Realtek drivers, switching to high-definition audio in Windows, reinstalling headphones, turning off enhancements and Windows Sonic, disconnecting components from the new cases, using H.DAudio, USB 3.0, and even shorting the HD LED and power switch pins with a screwdriver. Still no improvement. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The headphones produce identical audio when connected through the motherboard's audio jack. However, the front panel may not function correctly, possibly due to a faulty jack. In such cases, replacing the case or front panel might be necessary. If the problem persists across both jacks, testing on another device is recommended. If distortion occurs on multiple devices, the headphones likely need replacement.

They work identically on the motherboard but function well with my phone. I tested them with my brother's USB headphones, and everything was fine.

I would test with a different 3.5mm headphones or speakers. This would be the next stage of evaluation. Should another option still feel problematic, it might indicate an issue with the audio controller on the motherboard. In that scenario, you'd need to replace the board or switch to USB headphones or headsets.

I thought the built-in sound was experiencing issues. I resolved it by switching to a 3.5mm audio connection via USB.
