Hey there! I noticed a small issue with my used Optiplex setup. When the CPU isn’t busy, it makes a loud buzzing sound. Changing the BIOS settings or adding load helps, but it’s not ideal. I found some discussions on Dells’ site and forums talking about similar problems—maybe it’s a known issue or something harmless. Could someone help me figure out what’s going on?

The article implies that turning on Bluetooth might resolve the issue, rather than adjusting BIOS settings. It suggests this could be unrelated to the processor entering C3 state.

I'm not entirely confident. I have Proxmox installed and I don't think I can really make it use the Bluetooth radio. It might be worth checking what happens when I connect a LAN port to keep the CPU active...
