I turned on my PC from sleep this morning and noticed persistent audio noise, lagging video, and sluggish mouse movement even when the system was under any stress, like loading YouTube’s homepage. This issue vanished after a restart and didn’t return when I let the PC sleep again. About three to four days ago, I upgraded my machine with a Ryzen 5 7600X, Trident Z5 Neo 2x16GB 6000MHz CL30, AsRock B650M Pro RS, and Deepcool AK400. The rest of the components include Gigabyte Gaming 8G RTX 2070, SeaSonic Focus GX-750, Lexar NM710 500GB NVME, plus two SATA SSDs and two HDDs. In the BIOS I only activated the EXPO profile (4G Encoding) and TPM is set to default enabled. I’m currently using BIOS version 2.02, running Windows 11 version 23H2 build 22631.3235, with AMD chipset driver 6.01.25.342 and Nvidia driver 551.76. So far, no issues have arisen. Perhaps someone can help identify what might be causing this and suggest a solution, just in case it could affect my hardware. Here’s a video of the problem.

Temperatures and sensor readings remain stable under load. Windows were reinstalled following the upgrade. You've explored using DDU and reinstalled GC drivers.

Cyberpunk on Ultra with high-end settings, 1080p resolution, operating in the urban core to maximize CPU load. CPU temperature stays at 76.9°C, GPU reaches 80.9°C. Performed a clean system reboot, removed all files except data and backup drives; assume those are safe after a fresh install.

Temps appear acceptable, it looks like you should be fine. You might also want to perform an SFC/SCAN to confirm.

I also adjusted my sleep timer to five minutes, and the PC shut down three times since I posted initially. It seems the issue might relate to how long the system stayed active even after sleeping. Usually I keep it on while watching shows, and on my previous setup I’d leave it running for two to four weeks at a time.

unless it's a laptop, turn off fastboot, hibernation and sleep features. Always power down the computer or keep it running if needed. Since it's not a server, you'll likely need a fresh startup each time you turn it on.

It was just the one I had in mind—DISM Online Cleanup Image Restore Health. This tool checks your Windows files against online versions, downloading fresh copies and removing corrupted ones. You usually run it when SFC can't fix things and you need a replacement. Since SFC succeeded, everything should be fine.
