This is really challenging me.

First, let's go over my setup:
- AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU
- MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Gaming X 12G
- ATX MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus Motherboard
- G.SKILL Aegis 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4-3200MHz
I’m not sure if I’m missing anything, but okay.
Whenever I launch a game, the in-game audio cuts off unexpectedly. Whatever was playing in the background—like Spotify or a Chrome tab—it continues unaffected. This has left me confused and puzzled about what’s happening.

I’ve updated the sound drivers and GPU drivers, but the issue persists. Recently, I tried playing Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition, and the audio cuts off too. Even when I’m stationary and not using any input devices, the sound still stops. Other sounds outside the game work normally.

Summary: The in-game audio keeps stopping while external sounds remain intact. If you have any suggestions on how to fix this, I’d really appreciate it!

for those who might face a similar issue...
Consider removing your audio drivers, swapping the cable, and restarting your system before trying again.
I plan to conduct further tests using this "discovery" method and share the results here.
