I've set up a new PC today and everything seems normal except for occasional audio distortion that happens every few minutes. The sound becomes very distorted and robotic for a short time, and I haven't been able to resolve it. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Realtek audio drivers without success. I'm using Windows 10 64-bit, AsRock Z790 PG Lightning 4.07 with 13th Gen Intel Core i5-13000k, and Nvidia RTX 4070. Audio is routed through an audio interface via a motherboard USB port, which I know works fine.

I left this note for anyone who might be confused. I thought it might relate to hardware or Realtek audio, but turned out I hadn’t updated the drivers for my audio interface. The issue appears resolved. Please update all your drivers.
