Just trying to understand what’s happening with my setup. I built the PC a few years ago and it worked fine. I upgraded RAM, PSU, and changed the case. After finishing, I connected the power supply and tried turning it on. It clicks once but doesn’t do anything until I reset the PSU by switching it on and off manually. Not sure what’s causing this issue.
Are you sure the fan isn't rotating unexpectedly? Check if it keeps spinning after stopping.
I'm uncertain about the exact model of your EVGA power supply. If it's the G6 series, it should make a single click each time it turns on or off according to customer reviews I've seen. There are other models that produce the same sound. Regarding the lack of a second click after pressing the power button, I'm not sure. EVGA's forum mentions it's normal for a click to be heard during power cycling. Edit - You might need to reach out to EVGA for more help.
