What i discussed with the IPS indicated this ONU is an older model, and even they struggle to detect the signal strength. I remember connecting a computer directly with the fiber optic cable and then disconnecting it, causing the interface to vanish instantly. I also adjusted the network settings on the PC to match the ONU's configuration. By default, the ONU functions like a switch and doesn't appear in traceroute examples.

It might be possible to gain direct access by configuring a managed switch between the ONU and your router. Link the ONU to the switch, then connect a cable from the switch to the router’s WAN port and another from the switch to a LAN port. You’ll need to define a static route so your LAN reaches 192.168.0.1. This arrangement could let you enter the IP and use the interface, though it’s an unusual configuration and I can’t ensure success.
