In brief, when connected to a call, my headphones via Bluetooth remain silent. It works well for YouTube videos but not when joining Discord voice channels or making WhatsApp calls. I can still hear the initial sound effect in Discord, but once the call ends, silence returns completely. I verified my settings and the volume bar shows it’s working. Despite troubleshooting Windows updates, Bluetooth, and sound options, the issue persists. There’s no "hands-free" setting available in Discord for input/output devices. I’m really frustrated, especially when using the 3.5 mm headphone cord. Anyone have suggestions?

No sound at all, even when volume is set high. Would you like to see if the output device changes when launching the app? You might want to disable other devices in Windows settings. Which sound card are you using?

Note: Some built-in cards, like Realtek models, include a utility with the driver if you install it yourself. Certain cards offer settings to reduce noise (e.g., speech filtering). It’s strange to watch videos on platforms like YouTube with just background music.

Do your headphones work with other devices such as your phone? Are there drivers available for them? Also, how do you connect to your PC—do you need a dongle or have drivers for it? You can use Discord or other programs as well.
