Hello, Occasionally my computer freezes on the motherboard splash screen and sometimes starts normally. The unusual part is that to temporarily resolve it, I just keep pressing the power button and restarting, which lets me boot into Windows without problems. Another strange problem is the system won’t shut down after about ten minutes of inactivity. I found some articles suggesting fixes but nothing helped. I’m unsure where these issues come from and would really appreciate any advice or troubleshooting tips you might have. I’ll share my specifications and what steps I’ve already taken. What I’ve tried: Disconnected all USB devices, booted with an unplugged AC cord, removed the CMOS battery, reinserted it, then reconnected the AC cord and restarted, successfully accessing Specs: i5 12600k MSI B660M MORTAR WIFI Silicon Power 16GB RAM (slots 2 & 4), Team Group MP33 256GB SSD (boot drive), 650W PSU, Windows 11 64-bit, using integrated graphics temporarily.

Uncertainty about the sleep bug, but getting stuck on the motherboard display... when you power on, does the RAM operate at the expected pace? Might be a RAM performance problem.

The speeds are accurate both with and without XMP activated.

It seems like you're considering a major adjustment—rearranging the CPU placement. There might be a few pins that aren't connecting correctly, which could affect performance.
