Hello. I'm experiencing a drop from 144 fps to around 120-130 fps, which feels like 60 fps. This is happening on my FortiAnthetic system. My specs are: Ryzen 5 1600, RX 570, 16 GB DDR4 RAM, and I'm using a monitor linked via DisplayPort. I've tried VSync but it doesn't work. Could you help me out?

Monitor supports Freesync, is it activated in both Adrenaline and the monitor? If yes, does using Freesync without it make the experience smoother? With Vsync, consider using Fortnite's built-in Vsync but ensure Amd software is configured for application control to prevent Amd's version from taking over. Amd/Nvidia sync settings may vary from the game's own methods, so test both options separately. Also, attempt to turn off full screen optimization in the compatibility settings for Fortnite's executable. This setting combines features of borderless and full screen, making it convenient for keyboard shortcuts but a Windows 10 feature that conflicts with Freesync/Gsync and some games.

you're having trouble activating it from the monitor—it only responds when you're under adrenaline, and you've already tried that but noticed only a minor effect.

Checked the manual and was surprised to find no Freesync option, unlike other models; it must be automatic. There are still useful features to enhance image quality and reduce latency. Anything above 100fps should feel smooth. Dipping below 85 to 60 will seem slow even with Freesync, as the frame rate drop is noticeable. At 130fps it shouldn’t feel like 60fps unless there’s micro stuttering, in which case Freesync plus Vsync (game or AMD version) would help. Consider trying another Vsync method in Amd software alongside Freesync.

So you're asking me to enable Freesync and then press the plus button to apply it in the game? Got it. Thanks a lot!

Try Freesync with the game's Vsync option first, then evaluate the results. Compare this with Freesync plus Amd's Vsync configuration. Fortnite's Vsync functions only if Amd allows it; otherwise, Amd takes control. Fullscreen optimization is not enabled for Fortnite. Edit: 144Hz is configured in the Windows monitor adapter, not Adrenaline. These settings should align, but adjusting the refresh rate on Windows may be better than relying solely on graphics card software, as the latter can cause issues.
