Something is wrong with my windows
I downloaded Windows a few days ago without a key. I bought one for $120, but something went wrong. When trying to activate, I entered my key but the system says it can't connect to the internet, even though an Ethernet cable is connected and I need to link to my organization's server. This is my home computer. I reached out to their support, but their forums didn’t help much. How can I fix this so I don’t lose the $120?
It appears you purchased a corporate license key. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/wind...16476a90ae https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/wind...89bcda3b6d If you weren't sold through an authorized reseller or Microsoft, it's likely you were scammed. Review the seller's information to understand the details of your order.
You should still be able to use the key, unless there are any restrictions mentioned.
I would exchange any tangible item back. If the seller won't acknowledge the problem, a chargeback might help if you have a credit card. A $120 price is what I anticipate for an OEM key. However, if it's a corporate volume key, you're likely in trouble. For instance, if the version states 'Enterprise,' verify with the provided links and contact MS support to explore options. Good luck.
You're aiming for a non-physical setup, focusing on a business security solution that verifies itself every six months.
It seems you might have misunderstood the situation. If you didn’t do what was expected, you could face trouble. Your system indicating an enterprise setting likely means it’s a KMS version.
