I’m looking into purchasing a Ryzen 7 2700X and setting up the latest macOS with KVM on Ubuntu. The repo you found, https://github.com/kholia/OSX-KVM, seems to make things easier. Before buying the CPU, I want to check if Xcode functions properly, whether the iOS simulator works, and if it’s possible to transfer an iPhone USB into the VM for use in Xcode. Have others shared their experiences? I haven’t seen any YouTube guides about running Xcode with KVM; most seem focused on macOS on KVM setups. I left comments but haven’t gotten replies. I’m aware of licensing details and prefer learning rather than publishing apps. Also, what advice do you have for using macOS on KVM with a Ryzen 7 and a GTX 1060 later?

You won't be able to use the 1060 because there are no NVIDIA drivers available.

For OSX compatibility, you'll need an AMD GPU that's supported. Check the Tonymac86 forums for assistance.

Yes, it works with PCI passthrough as well. You can still access it even without a dedicated GPU. Have you tried using KVM before?
