It's unclear what occurred, but I appreciated having the image in the Chrome app. It could have been caused by a virus or malware scan, perhaps due to running too many tabs or simply being a beginner. I'm not entirely sure.
Is the issue just chrome? It really affects me. Could be a Windows setting or too many open tabs making thumbnails disappear. Edit—can confirm. Once you have so many tabs, thumbnails vanish so everything fits on one screen.
