You're looking for USB Wi-Fi adapters that work well with budget motherboards. Consider USB Wi-Fi dongles or USB 3.0 adapters compatible with your system.

WiFi and USB performance aren't compatible well. I think investing more in your motherboard and getting a good built-in WiFi with a strong antenna would be better. USB WiFi should be an afterthought for something you already own; otherwise, it's like adding a new car with 4 space savers when a proper wheel would cost more than the spare in your trunk. Absolutely avoid including a proper antenna on a 5G WiFi device—this would eliminate range entirely. Instead, connect it to a USB2.0 port with a limited speed (around 480Mbit) and a very low power output so it doesn't broadcast any signal. EDIT: I added a $7 microcontroller board with an antenna larger than your typical USB clutter. If it weren’t essential, it wouldn’t be there.
