Some Samsung TVs display color issues.
Hey, I purchased a 65-inch UHD TV at a very low price used. It looks like I might have been taken advantage of since half the screen displays strange color issues—like green appearing as purple. Some folks suggest checking if parts need swapping or if the display itself is damaged. On the other hand, everything else seems to function perfectly, including the right side which shows green without problems. I also noticed a scratch on the right side, but it doesn’t affect the color display. I’ve attached a photo of the color difference for reference.
The display you're seeing white suggests the problem isn't with the panel itself, but with the backlight failing. I've encountered this issue on my TV as well—sometimes it's simple to replace if you have the time. If you purchased it from someone, it might be a bit more costly, but it's a fairly affordable solution if you're willing to invest the effort.

I know the backlight is responsible for making the image bright. It’s usually a white LED strip positioned behind the LCD screen (which handles the colors). Over time, the backlight may change color, so you can check your TV model and find replacement guides for similar devices.
