Nvidia and its collaborators often provide complimentary games alongside premium graphics cards. I purchased my 1080Ti on Newegg and received a free copy of Rocket League, which is quite a bargain since it typically doesn’t cost that much. Recently, they’ve released Destiny 2, something I was genuinely excited about at the time. (That was when I was your age and things were changing.) When I attended a tech expo with my dad in the early 1990s, we received our first CD-ROM drive and sound card—specifically the Sound Blaster 16 with an ISA interface. It came with a 2X CD-ROM (300 KB/s), decent speakers for the era, and a game disc featuring Wing Commander 2 plus extra missions, Strike Commander, Syndicate Plus, and Ultima VIII: Pagan. That was truly impressive when it was included with such a big purchase.

It’s great you receive extra items when you don’t buy everything upfront, because that way you can get what you truly want. I purchased the HTC Vive with three free games, but they were pretty poor quality. Then they introduced a new offer every two weeks, improving each time—like a cheaper Vive plus games or a Vive with the 1070 for $1000. Now they have a bundle with Bridge Crew and a $50 Steam card for $750 plus tax. My Vive alone cost me $900 after taxes and shipping.
