They display icons elsewhere, not in the taskbar, and it affects specific programs. I've restarted my computer twice because that often resolves the issue. This began today, March 7, 2020.

Failed attempts didn't result in an icon. I planned to rebuild the thumbnails, though that could be problematic.

After rebuilding the icon database, the changes sometimes don't activate until a restart or logging out.

It seems only this single icon is working—maybe the shortcut is broken. Consider removing it and adding a fresh one instead?

It finally functioned after rebuilding the cache, removing the pin, and reposting again. Still issues remain.
