I’m dealing with a few network problems and haven’t found clear guidance on fixing them. My setup is a bit outdated but generally functions. The main router is a Linksys LRT214 with a Gigabit VPN, connected to an unmanaged switch that sends traffic through an old Wi-Fi router acting as a WAP. From there, a line goes to my room and connects to another unmanaged switch, which links both Cisco routers, two 2911 switches, and my computer. My first Cisco router has a switch on a subnet (192.168.33.0/25) that connects to a NAS and a Pi. My second router is planned for later (192.168.33.248/30). The biggest concern is internet access within the 192.168.33.0 network—it works outside but drops packets when going to the wider internet. I’ve corrected routing tables and added an ACL rule on the Linksys router to allow traffic from that subnet, though it seems inconsistent. Another issue involves cables; I’ve tried cleaner runs but my Cisco devices still can’t establish connections over them. I believe the problem lies with the cable setup or termination, even though other gear works fine. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
