So the three titles I marked had all been affected by incompetent developers. My main issue with survival games is how the creators actually behave inside these titles—Rust was once a top pick before the BP system got messed up. Instead of listening to players, they removed features that were important, which really frustrated everyone.

Seven days to die completely wrecked the mining system, making it hard to build anything useful. They added unnecessary changes, like removing digging tools and making setup super difficult. That was a huge letdown because mining had been solid before.

My latest survival experience is Empyrion Galactic Survival... the developers here are pretty bad. Bugs are everywhere, but the mining system actually worked well until they messed with it. They didn’t improve it—they just made it harder to build and set up bases.

Now I’m stuck with Prothium replacing magnesium in all ammunition types. That’s a big change, but it’s barely used anywhere except for ships. It’s frustrating because it forces you to use the same resource for everything, which is really inefficient.

Plus, they changed ammo recipes without warning. Now ships need Prothium instead of magnesium, and it’s only used for a few things. This is just confusing and unnecessary.

No plans to fix these issues. There’s no way back to the old version. No updates coming soon. People are already complaining, and there’s no sign they’ll make changes. It’s really annoying.

They don’t listen to feedback, just keep making things worse. I wish more developers would study what others did wrong and avoid repeating mistakes. If you feel the same, let me know—maybe someone else has a better experience.

they possess their own perspectives just as we do, and they act according to their own desires rather than ours. after all, it’s their strategy.

Ellipses should be used carefully. Sentences work best in separate paragraphs.

but our funds. when they design game-changing decisions, it doesn't seem fair for a community to expect things to be corrected. and altering the game in ways that damage its value then failing to address it isn't enough. idgaf if they control it, that's not a valid excuse to let it fall apart. it could be a game after all. but if apple or samsung released a phone update that breaks, no one would stay silent. people are already upset about the absence of a headphone jack. i'm not suggesting people should run their own shows. however, when you invest in a product, you deserve some input, especially if a company still influences it. otherwise, you're just paying to use something they can decide to break for a "great" idea, leaving you with nothing. that's the issue—online games feel like renting; developers can change things at will and ruin what you had. now you're left with a product that doesn't match your expectations. if they fix it well, great! but if they just break it without explanation, you're stuck paying for it all.

I want to read that, yet another side resists because of the missing capital letters and the long stretches of ellipses that make me want to throw up.

you wouldn't invest any money in the future unless you check the licensing terms for the games you own. we understand that the games may have issues, and the best action is to avoid supporting those developers moving forward.

Sure, I get it. I’m not very good at arranging things or writing the right way. I prefer putting pieces together instead of reading about how to write properly. Still, I understand when something needs to be done correctly. But if my style bothers you, that’s okay too.

In the EULA there seems to be a statement suggesting developers have full freedom to modify the game without accountability, which reflects a concerning attitude toward the community. Many have voiced their dissatisfaction with these changes. Rust underwent significant updates quickly, leading to widespread player departures. JRust functioned well during my playtime but shifted from BP hunting to XP mechanics, which was disappointing. The XP system itself was flawed, and servers frequently shut down before long-term stability could be achieved. They altered the XP model repeatedly until reverting to BP, causing irreversible damage. Features like snow fields, pumpjacks, and other beloved elements were removed. 7dtd requires a functional mining system and its item crafting mechanics. Empyrion was enjoyable but suffered from excessive resource taxation. Because planets are primarily PVE or PVP, removing players from PVE zones is straightforward—just strip mining. Resources don’t respawn in the game, yet POIs sometimes do. These issues need correction. Adding more ammo and confusing turret targeting with core targets makes it impossible to safely operate vehicles near bases without wasting ammunition. The ship must be completely disabled, leading to destruction when drones approach due to lack of self-defense. Developers are ignoring player concerns, which is detrimental. It would make more sense for them to focus on improving the game rather than trying to salvage a struggling base. This approach won’t generate revenue or build trust.

This situation seems like something worth noting in a progress report—what steps should be taken next?
