Hello everyone. I created my first device about a year ago. It functioned well initially, but after a couple of months it began to produce coil whine that worsened. Games like Minecraft started lagging significantly—about one-tenth of their normal frames—and reacting sluggishly even to small mouse movements. Eventually it would freeze entirely in Chrome. I swapped out the motherboard, CPU, cooler, and GPU since those issues started. Recently, I noticed coil whine again and today I observed fewer than usual frames, unstable mouse actions, and sudden lag spikes or freezes. The problem seems to recur under similar conditions. What might be behind this? Parts list: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/4sLqnt Note: I've updated the motherboard, CPU, cooler, and GPU since the problems began.

It could be the power supply unit, as it might overload the board and GPUs by not delivering correct voltages. I’d still trust a Corsair PSU for this reason.

You can check the system status and performance metrics without swapping the PSU.
