It adds an extra 3-5 minutes to the process. Our rivals are compensated per task, not per hour, unlike my method. Ont does not pay for a connection; it bridges the internet directly. gateway=isp modem/router/switch/wifi

The closest connection in a Fiber setup is the ONT. Some regions offer an ONT/Router package. Not all providers use a single unit, so you might have a dedicated ONT and choose your own router separately.

The ONT functions as an L3 switch equipped with certain RG configuration options. Ports are connected to the uplink for the blade either through direct bridging or via RG bridging for the copper ports.
