You're unsure about the initial two points, but downloading the game will require a significant time investment. With a file size of 60 GB and your current speed of about 2 MB per second, it will take more than 8 hours to complete the download.

It only takes an hour? That feels strange since I spent four hours downloading a 26GB game... and GTA is 60GB.

The instructions are clear: you can't just copy a product key from another site and use it on Steam. The key must explicitly state "Steam key" for it to function. I purchased it straight from Steam.
