Laptop is an MSI GE66 Raider 10SF equipped with an RTX 2070. I've observed it failing to utilize the GPU, often displaying codes 31 and 45. It seems the GPU might be dead. I've attempted a factory reset, used a DDU scanner, and checked for Nvidia updates, but no GPU was detected. Problems appeared when switching to Windows 11.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
It seems the GPU might have failed.
Open GPU-Z and check for zero values in relevant fields.
Problems appeared after switching to Windows 11.
Did you migrate from Windows 10? If yes, did you upgrade via the internal path? Then recreate your Windows 11 bootable USB installer and install offline.
Install all required drivers during offline mode using an elevated command—Right click the installer and select Run as Administrator.
Your laptop is an
MSI GE66 Raider 10SF with an RTX 2070.
Have you verified if there are any pending BIOS updates?

I checked it and noticed that certain thermal pads were blocking the cold plate from touching. That suggests it might be done. I'm holding off on thermal paste until I've moved again, but I'm confident it's finished.

Can't upload the other photo, but it indicates no GPU or memory clock on sensors. Still code 31.

So I have some good news. After I removed the thermal pads causing issue and repasted. I managed to actually have it connect and was able to update the drivers. Thankfully it didn't cook itself and disconnected even after using it awhile under intense heat. Once I had installed the new drivers it's working again
. Thanks for the help!
