Start fresh with a new build and it’s running hot and noisy. I have an R7 5800X, 3070 Ti, and the Noctua NH-U12S chromax black. The temperatures are around 40-50°C, fans spin wildly during games, and I’m struggling with the noise level. I’ll share photos soon when I can.

Power off the system and perform a brief inspection of the fan mounts. Verify they are properly installed and the tension is accurate. If the unit is new, you might still have some thermal paste from Noctua that came with the cooler—consider reapplying it evenly across the CPU surface. When mounting, avoid lifting the device; a slight air movement can be problematic. A light sliding or twisting motion is acceptable, but refrain from lifting and dropping it abruptly.

I'll attempt to reinstall the CPU cooler.
