Following the Windows 10 upgrade from Windows 7, my monitor would unexpectedly switch to power-saving mode and then shut down briefly before the computer restarted on its own. I suspect the graphics card might be the issue, especially since the graphics driver stopped working in Windows 7. The main difference is that in Windows 7 the monitor would power off temporarily and come back without the system restarting, whereas now it reboots automatically after a short period. Despite updating the latest graphics driver for Windows 10, the problem continues. My hardware details are: CPU – Intel Quad Core 2.4GHz Q6600, Motherboard – Asus P5N-D, Graphics Card – EVGA GTX 560, RAM – Corsair XM2 8GB @ 800MHz, Power Supply – Corsair TX750W Tower, Case – Antec P182.

Before upgrading, ensure the system is ready and version 10 is enabled. Perform a clean installation afterward and verify you have the latest device drivers installed.
