Hey everyone
I’m experiencing some rough lines in every game I play. Even when I enable anti-aliasing settings, the improvement isn’t noticeable. I’ve shared four images for comparison:

Cod black ops cold war: with MSAA
vs.
with FXAA
Rocket League: with MSAA
vs.
no anti-aliasing
Looking at these, there are small differences, but I believe the anti-aliasing isn’t functioning correctly. I’ve uninstalled my drivers using DDU and checked if any third-party software might be changing the settings. Another issue I noticed is that the icons on my wallpaper turn black when I hover over them—similar to what’s described in a Reddit post. Maybe these issues are connected.

System details:
i7 4790 3,60 Ghz
RX 5700 (driver version: 20.11.2)
16gb ram
Thanks!

Hi, the first image appears to have a fence that MSAA doesn't support. FXAA offers a workaround to achieve antialiasing with improved performance—it's better than nothing. You'll need to either raise the resolution or apply supersampling. Open Radeon settings, go to Gaming -> global settings: Antialiasing method set to supersampling, Antialiasing mode adjusted to override application settings, and higher numbers for better results at the expense of FPS. Adjustments can be made per app or globally.
