Just checking if graphics drivers and Windows 11 updates cover everything else on my PC. Am I overlooking important updates for RAM, CPU, or the motherboard? Thanks for your help!
Generally, other system drivers for different hardware get refreshed often. However, you rarely need to upgrade drivers unless there’s a problem with that specific hardware. You can safely keep an older driver as long as updates don’t affect your current needs. Most users update everything just in case it relates to future requirements.
RAM requires only the RGB control software. No dedicated RAM driver exists. CPU recommends installing all chipset drivers from the motherboard maker’s website during installation. Then proceed. Motherboard needs BIOS updates when necessary—this can enhance performance or add support for desired CPUs, or improve features like AM5 memory stability in newer BIOS versions. Update your BIOS accordingly. Alternatively, maintain Windows and GPU driver updates to stay current.
