You have the option to fix or restore the installation. This action eliminates any modifications made after generating a backup. Windows generates restore points automatically during updates.

Designer, it seems you're not right about that. Probably a system tweak tool did something else. Still, it's recommended to perform a system restore—bring your system back before the problem started, just like LogicalDrm suggests—to avoid affecting your personal files.
