Hi,
My PC has been running smoothly for more than a year without any issues. Recently, I updated the graphics card drivers and Radeon Software after installation, but I still encounter this error when opening Radeon Software:
"Radeon Software and Driver versions do not match. Please try again after updating to the latest version(s)."
Despite updating to the latest version, the problem persists. What is the most commonly recommended solution?

Display Driver Uninstaller software is designed solely for removing display drivers and associated utilities, offering various methods based on your needs. I would start with DDU in safe mode, opting for the normal uninstall first, then consider a clean uninstall only if nothing changes. This approach helps avoid unnecessary risks.

What GPU is this? I recall the Navi Gen often encountering issues with different driver versions. A suitable driver on one system doesn't always work on another. It really comes down to testing and adjusting.

You might want to either reinstall the entire driver package and related software to begin fresh, or DDU and install an older version where you previously had success. Graphics drivers can sometimes behave poorly, particularly with AMD, while Nvidia generally performs better in that area.

Are there any reported problems with my GPU?
How do I DDU?

You start in safe mode, use DDU to eliminate all graphics drivers, and then install fresh ones on reboot. It seems the drivers you installed were incorrect. AMD offers a tool to identify the necessary drivers. USE THAT. I’ve never faced such an issue while using it. I also have integrated Vega graphics on my son’s laptop and a small desktop. Check this link: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/gpu-131. DO NOT just install generic drivers for discrete cards—probably what you did.

I saved the official WHQL drivers from the provided link.
The question asks about discreet graphics cards and why AMD prioritized them on the Ryzen 3 3200G page.

Display Driver Uninstaller tool is designed solely for removing display drivers and associated software or registries. It offers various choices based on your needs. I would start with DDU in safe mode and try a normal uninstall first to assess the process. A clean uninstall is typically recommended when switching GPU brands (such as from AMD to Nvidia) because it carries more risk. Proceed only if you notice no improvement after the standard uninstall.

This software targets discrete graphics cards—those installed directly onto the motherboard, unlike integrated ones.

In your case, the system uses a mini Vega GPU, similar to the full Vega 56 and 64 but with significantly fewer cores.

It seems you likely received the appropriate drivers, though AMD’s experience suggests they can behave unpredictably at times.

Other suggestions have been made regarding the process. Uninstall the current drivers using DDU, remove old downloads, and then use the AMD utility to find the required drivers for your APU. If the same package appears again, proceed carefully. Discreet graphics cards are standalone GPUs such as the AMD 6800 from nVidia 3070. Integrated graphics are built into the CPU. AMD doesn’t know what drivers you have and lets users decide which ones are needed, offering tools to help identify the correct ones for others. Based on your post, it seems your driver download might be corrupted, so you should uninstall and start over.
