I have a Sony Vaio laptop. Its quite aged, but has decent specs. (i7, GTX 450m. 6g DDR3). And I have a very beefy Desktop PC. (i7, 980ti-SLI, 16g DDR4) So my question, is there a program that allows you to stream the entire PC into my laptop. So I can use 3DS MAX, Maya, Mudbox, Zbrush, ect., on my Desktop but being streamed onto my laptop that cant handle such programs. Also if there is, can it just stream the 1 Screen(Main Monitor) as I have multiple monitors on my Desktop. Please and Thank You!

You can install the program via Steam as a standalone app and then use Moonlight Streaming to broadcast it in 1080p60 to your laptop. It performs excellently on my local network at http://moonlight-stream.com/, though I’m limited to a single monitor.

Rdc isn't ideal for visual projects. Created for managing servers. Give splashtop a try.

Is it possible to access it over the internet instead of locally? I’d like to use my laptop at a workplace with Wi-Fi and connect directly to it.

It supports operation locally (no need for port forwarding) or online.

Are you experiencing issues with the 192... number sequence? The connection timed out after a few steps.

In part 2? go to start menu search CMD type in ipconfig scroll down to the adapter you are using copy the local gateway put that into your browser instead edit: in your case where I put external IP put your internal IP edit2: also dont think you need a port
