Choose a user-friendly tool for streaming on Twitch. XSplit is an option, but consider simpler alternatives first. Prioritize ease of use and reliable performance.

Open Broadcaster is a free tool that performs well for me. https://obsproject.com/ I’ve also tried Xsplit before and had no issues, it really comes down to whether you’re willing to spend money.

For Kepler cards or better, use OBS with NVENC. Otherwise, Intel Quicksync works as in the previous Luke's video.

OBS is ideal for trying things out. XSplit offers a demo, but it's quite restricted. This can be an issue if your system has any performance issues. If you encounter difficulties with OBS or XSplit, Dxtory is a suitable alternative. What's your upload speed? Based on your hardware, you should be able to stream in 720p if your upload rate is 8+Mb/s. Aim for 720p resolution, a bitrate between 1800-2200 (higher values consume more bandwidth and improve quality), 30fps, and use AAC/MP3 at 160kbps.
