Software for recording that reduces file size during playback.
You're looking for recording tools that can compress files in real time with fast rendering. Mirrleis Action works but has similar drawbacks to other software. D3D options are decent but not ideal for quality. Consider free or paid alternatives that balance speed and file size, such as Audacity with batching, Adobe Audition’s export features, or open-source tools like Audacity or Reaper with compression plugins. If you need smaller outputs, look into software that supports chunked rendering or external storage optimization.
Consider trying OBS, it's free and supports Nvidia NVENC plus AMD VCE for GPU rendering. You can find more details here: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/nve...post-57445 https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/obs...ort.13996/ If OBS isn't suitable, Bandicam, DXTory and XSplit are also solid choices. Fraps is built to work well with various hardware, though it tends to generate very large files.
I've tried OBS before for live streaming but never recorded. I'm going to give it a go and see what feedback I get.
